Operational Restructuring and Turnaround- lecture by Igor Zaks at University of Toronto Faculty of Law

Igor Zax (Zaks) , CFA, GPLLM, Sloan Fellow (LBS) President of Tenzor Ltd. and TenzorAI, presented today on Operational Restructuring and Turnaround at University of Toronto Faculty of Law. The lecture would form part of the International Insolvency Law course within GPLLM (Global Professional LLM) program.

Operational Turnaround –Focus on Working Capital and Supply Chain-lecture by Igor Zax at LBS

Igor Zax CFA, founder of Tenzor Ltd, gave a new guest lecture Operational Turnaround –Focus on Working Capital and Supply Chain as part of a course “Mergers, MBOs and Other Corporate Reorganisations” by professor Paolo Volpin at London Business School 23 March 2012.

The lecture covers principles of distressed investments, corporate turnaround and operational due diligence. It also focuses on supply chain and working capital implications, use of asset backed lending, vertical integration and business model re-design.

Corporate Turnaround- looking beyond just banks and the creditor.

-Company’s “ecosystem” – how does supply chain affect company’s chances of recovery. Working capital problems, role of suppliers, distribution, credit insurers and asset backed lenders-their interests and possible actions.

-Changing the model- what can turnaround manager do and what support he/she needs to seek? How can creditors help turnaround manager to help them?

-Investor’s view- where is the exit?
